Practical Pilates offers private and small group Pilates sessions focused on function over aesthetics. This means increasing strength and mobility, decreasing pain, and improving the movement skills needed for the activities you love! Whether that is a sport, dance, hiking, playing with your kids, or simply feeling more ease in your body as you move through your life. Sessions are offered in-studio and online with the added benefit of an optional app to do home workouts on your own time. With time and consistency you will notice positive changes in how your body feels and what you are capable of!

About Practical Pilates
My name is Hali Erickson and I am a Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor with a passion for pain management, body inclusivity, and finding joy in movement. In my early twenties I started experiencing debilitating chronic pain and struggled to find practitioners who could help me. Although I found some explanations through medical intervention, they were limited and nothing was decreasing my pain. After years with no relief, I decided to try private Pilates and was amazed by how well it helped me manage my pain and increase my strength without flaring up my symptoms. It allowed me to rediscover my love of movement at a time in my life when many other kinds of fitness were inaccessible to me. Overtime Pilates has helped me gain the freedom of pain-free movement, ease in my everyday life and activities, and a love of helping others achieve the same.
I created Practical Pilates for those who are looking for a welcoming and accessible fitness space and are interested in experiencing the practical magic of Pilates.
